Reminder that the club presentation day will take place on Saturday 9th June and will run as follows:

9:45-10:30am Under 6, 7 & 8’s Parents v Kids on the field

10:45-12:00pm Under 6, 7 & 8’s Trophy Presentation in the Sports Hall

10:30-12:30pm Under 11, 12 & 14’s 5-A-side tournament on the field

1:00-2:15pm Under 16’s v SCJFC Coaches (The Big Match)

3:00-5:00pm Under 11-16 Trophy Presentation in the SchoolAssembly Hall

7:30 – Late Club members night out (18+ only) – Trafford Metrovics Club, Glebelands Road, Sale – Disco, Buffet and the usual SCJFC party atmosphere!

Under 16’s Top the Table…

Our Under 16’s now top Division 2 after a great win over Urmston Meadowside yesterday, in difficult conditions they kept going right to the end running out 2-0 winners. Jake McDarmaid scored his first goal of the season (and maybe the most important one) showing great determination under pressure to head in from a couple of yards. Reece Thompson finished the game off with a stunning solo effort. The lads now need to wait and see if Urmston can do them a favour by holding Stretford Vics back next weekend.

Under 16’s – Promotion Decider…What a week!

This week is one of the biggest in our clubs short History, after the Under 12 success and we now have 2 finals taht will decide if the Under 11’s and under 16’s will be promoted. Our under 16’s travel to Urmston Meadowside on Sunday 13th May knowing a win will seal their promotion to Divison 1. Once again we need your support on the day, Kick off is 10:30 @ Flixton Playing fields. If you need a lift down just let us know!

Under 11 Division 3 Play Off Final…WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

On Wednesday 9th May our Under 11’s wil take on Local Rivals Sale Utd in the Division 3 play off final to decide who will gain promotion to Division 2 next season. The match will take place at Cherry Manor School and will kick off at 6:30pm. This follows a magnificent season and again could acheive a second promotion in 2 years!

Under 12’s – Division 3 Champions 2011/13…

Congratulations to the Under 12’s for winning the Division 3 Championship. In addition to the League Cup the Under12’s have now achieved the double for 2 years running! Well done Matty, and well done to ther lads who have displayed some great football this season…

Under 7’s win against Ashton!

Today (21/4/12) the under sevens team played Brilliantly in two games against Ashton, winning both games the scores were: 5-2 and 8-3. This was a great result for us as all our hard work in training paid off, everyone involved had a great time. We all look forward to playing tournaments at Broadheath and Unicorn later on in the season hopefully we keep up the great work and do well in them like we have in the matches.

End of Season Trophy Presentation…

Well it’s nearly upon us, the end of the season! How quickly it has gone by. The End of Season Presentation will be held in 3 stages on Saturday 9th June. Under 6-8’s will be holding dads v Lads matches at 10:00am – 11:00am on the school field and then the trophy presentation will take place in the sports hall from 11:30 – 1:00pm. Kids will be provided with a snack box to eat before and during the presentation. Then from 3:00pm – 5:00pm the Under 11-16’s will have their presentation in the school assembly hall (tbc) with small buffect provided. That evening we will be holding a members night out at a location to be decided so keep your calendars clear! Keep you eye on the website and facebook for updates!

Under 11’s promotion hanging in the balance…

After a great season the under 11’s played their final game and won 6-1 against Unicorn Athletic, this result put us second in the league (in a promotion place), however Sale United are third in the league with a game in hand, if they win their game against Benchill Celtic they would go level on points with us, but they have a greater goal difference than us so they would take second place. We all hope that Benchill Celtic will do us a big favour and Win the game so we stay second.
What ever happens in the game it has been an fantastic season for us.
