Forever Manchester – Community Foundation
Charity… The Mancunian Way.
Community Foundations are charities located across the UK dedicated to strengthening local communities, creating opportunities and tackling issues of disadvantage and exclusion.
They do this by matching donations to community groups and local people who are passionate about making a difference.
There are 57 Community Foundations across the UK. Forever Manchester is the Community Foundation that represents Greater Manchester and supports all ten boroughs of our region: Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan.
Forever Manchester has strong connections within our local communities. Our contact with local people and organisations creates essential ‘grassroots’ knowledge which sets us apart from other grant-makers and ensures donations are accurately targeted to achieve the biggest impact.
This is Manchester; we do things differently round here. We sort out our own problems, find our own solutions, do it our way.
We are Forever Manchester, the charity for Manchester, and we do things the Mancunian Way.
